“ Been going here forever for breakfast, thought I'd try lunch one day. The burger was meh, and c'mon.. who puts one pickle. Poutine was just ok, onions rings were amazing. The staff here is always super nice, will probably stick to breakfast though, with the occasional side of O-rings. ”

“ My sister, Renee, picked up my order for me And I had the great Canadian skillet. I am a sucker for a good skillet and this one did not disappoint. It was flavourful and good portion. Also, the customer service was spot on. The order wasn’t ready when she went to pick it up and the gentleman at The register brought it out to her car when it was done on a chilly day. That is top-notch service. I highly highly recommend ”

“ We were at a nearby hotel that offered a very expensive breakfast so we looked around for somewhere else to eat. This diner fit the bill. It was very affordable, not fancy, and filled us up. Coffee was good and bottomless. The potatoes were good, a teeny dry but had good seasoning. I ordered the breakfast sandwich that was very filling. Very generous portions for the potatoes. The service was excellent and attentive. We definitely would return. ”

“ First time coming here, my boyfriend said he used to come all the time but hadn’t been in years, we made the 30 minute drive … and it was worth it!! I didn’t get a pic of the food because I couldn’t put the hot chocolate down it’s sooooooo good. Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Usually cups at restaurants have a gross smell to them that ruin it but this place was just great. I saw a review where they felt overwhelmed by staff checking in but I thought the staff were all very attentive. The moment you thought “I need cream, I need a coffee refill” they showed up within seconds before you even had the opportunity to ask. The owner was so sweet as well. The home fries are unique, not like any other place I’ve had. I usually drench my food in sauce but I had them plain because they were so delish. Would definitely recommend checking it out & supporting a family owned/ran business!! ”

“ Absolutely LOVED this restaurant!!! This is not a franchise restaurant, it is family owned, which is even a bigger bonus for this business. There is a wait and the reason is because people love the food here and for good reasons. If you are looking for a in and out restaurant go to a franchise fast food place. But if you want good homemade food, come here!!! Absolutely the BEST home fries we have ever had!!! If we are ever in this area again, we will be back. Oh and the prices are fantastic too. $68 total for 3 breakfasts, 2 coffees, 2 large chocolate milks, to average out that is $22pp. ”

“ Old school unpretentious diner with charm. Service is the exact level of attentive that we like and extremely friendly. Staff are charming and personable. Very generous portions; this is "fill you up" diner fare done right. After a couple of visits this has become our go-to breakfast stop when we happen to be in the area. Conveniently located near several hotels and easy access to the highway. ”
